My interest in personal finance came from a rather unfortunate situation. My father passed away four days after I graduated college somewhat unexpectedly. This left my sister and me with a small inheritance. Wanting to find the best way to plan for my future success I created a strong wealth management plan for myself. During this time I was thrust into a Probate process and managing his estate as the named executor. While this was extremely challenging, I also learned a lot about the process from first-hand experience. Not only do I have an interest in financial planning, but I also enjoy estate planning because its value is undeniable.

When I decided to make the change into Financial Planning I decided to learn as much as I could before seeking employment. Therefore I started with a certificate course through Bryant University and the Boston Institute of Finance in September of 2023, after finishing that I jumped directly into the review to sit for the July 2024 CFP exam. While I was unsuccessful with the exam, I learned a lot from the experience. I am a lifetime learner and always am seeking to gain knowledge and experience.
